Research Interests
Philipp Schindler’s research focused on the area of blockchain technologies and their underlying principles. He had a particular interest in the topics of scalability, privacy, and consensus algorithms. His recent works include the design and implementation of distributed protocols for key generation (based on Ethereum) and publicly-verifiable randomness.
Bio
Philipp Schindler has a strong background in IT security and software engineering. He has recently completed TU Wien‘s PhD program in computer science with distinction. Previously, he successfully applied for the university’s high potential program TUtheTOP and worked as informatics teacher and IT system administrator alongside his studies. Supporting SBA’s professional services division, Philipp Schindler’s activities include penetration testing as well as architecture and design reviews of IT systems.
