Research Interests

His research at SBA focused on the more theoretical foundations of artificial intelligence as well as the mathematical formulation of fundamental problems in machine an statistical learning. Further research interests included the application of machine learning and simulation techniques to various physical problems.


Bio

Orestis is a theoretical physicist from Thessaloniki, Greece, who has conducted research in the interference between mathematics and (high energy) physics at leading institutes like CERN and the Theoretical Physics at the University of Munich. Recently, he has received his PhD from the University of Bern and prior to that a BSc and MSc in mathematical physics at the University of Munich as a scholarship holder of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
