Jakob was consulting in the area of web security and performed penetration tests.
Research Interests
Jakob’s research interests included social engineering, security of Windows and Linux operating systems and penetration tests in general with focus on web application security.
Bio
Jakob studied at LMU München and got his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in summer of 2021. In his thesis he discussed the development of vehicle architectures and its influence on the attack surface, and thereafter secured one of the possible entry points. From 2022 to 2024 he worked as security consultant at SBA Research. He achieved the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification at the beginning of 2023.
