Edgar Weippl visited NII Tokyo: Network Security Talk & Research Collaboration
Edgar Weippl, research director of SBA Research and full professor at the University of Vienna, recently visited the National Institute of Informatics (NII) in Tokyo. He attended a master seminar led by Prof. Isao Echizen, who works on fake news detection and media authenticity. Edgar Weippl also had the opportunity to discuss potential research collaborations with one of Prof. Isao Echizen’s PostDocs.

During the visit, Edgar Weippl gave a talk on network security, presenting recent research by Johanna Ullrich, newly appointed professor at the University of Vienna and key researcher at SBA Research.
