Congratulations to Daryna Oliynyk!
In December 2024, the informatics faculty at TU Wien celebrated the faculty’s most outstanding students at the TU Wien Informatics Awards. The award ceremony recognizes outstanding achievements on all academic levels – Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral – and across all research areas at TU Wien Informatics.
The jury considered both the methodological and substantive aspects of each thesis, including the importance of the subject, the originality of the work, its structure, the quality of the scholarship, writing, and presentation.

Daryna Oliynyk, part of the MLDM Team at SBA Research, was awarded the runner-up prize for her master thesis titled “Man of steal: Exploring model stealing attacks against image classifiers“, in which she explored aspects of intellectual property protection of machine learning models.
