Dimitris Simos Receives the ACA-ERA Award

Dimitris Simos’s fruitful research portfolio includes over 150 published papers that advance discrete mathematics and its applications to computer science. His work spans a diverse range of areas, including combinatorial designs, software testing, symbolic computation, optimization algorithms, disaster management, and information security.
While the importance and impact of his innovative research are underscored by substantial funding from national, European, and international sources, the award committee described him as “an excellent early career researcher, with amazing potential but also a proven record.”
