Research Interests
Esther’s reseach interests focused on how to use psychology in the field of security – more specifically: what factors contribute to risky behavior in digital environments and how to prevent human errors (often associated with high costs) to make the digital world more secure for (unexperienced) users.
Bio
Esther graduated from the Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg as M.Sc. in the profession of psychology, before finishing her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the Technische Universität Dresden in 2020. Afterwards she completed the training for clinical psychology while broadening her interests to the field of security in projects at University of Vienna and SBA Research.
