On June 6th, 2023, Anja Klauzer and Veronika Nowak participated in the TA|23, the annual conference of the Institute of Technology Assessment at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. They presented Anja’s work “Power Grid Modeling” – a model of the Austrian power grid built and validated using OSINT – in the wider context of our profoundly changing critical infrastructures: the shift to renewable energy sources and the extensive digitalisation of our society bring to the fore new actors and stakeholders, thus requiring increased transparency to facilitate fairness on the market as well as in research. The TA community was very welcoming and we enjoyed a full day of interesting talks and conversations!
