About the Project
During the NGI Explorers Remote Expedition, Christian Kudera (SBA Research) is going to design a framework that automatically creates target device tailored honeypots for the (Industrial) Internet of Things without any further knowledge about the firmware. Honeypots are a common practice in the area of cybersecurity, but due to the heterogeneous landscape of IoT devices, up to now there is no generic honeypot framework that is capable of attracting attacks for the wide variety of IoT architectures.
