IEEE EuroS&P 2024: Vienna Becomes the Hub of Security & Privacy
We are pleased to announce that the 9th IEEE European Symposium on Security and Privacy (EuroS&P) will take place at the University of Vienna from July 8-12, 2024. As one of Europe’s leading conferences in the field of computer security and electronic privacy, EuroS&P will attract over 200 renowned researchers and professionals from more than 30 countries to the Austrian capital.
“We are excited to host EuroS&P 2024 in Vienna and look forward to researchers presenting and discussing their latest findings,” says Edgar Weippl, scientific director at SBA Research and Professor at the University of Vienna. “Vienna provides a fantastic setting for EuroS&P to enhance informal exchanges across Europe and inspire new ideas.”
Supported by the University of Vienna and TU Wien, this event reinforces Vienna’s position as a hub for scientific excellence and technological advancement in security research. Alongside presentations of outstanding scientific papers, which are selected through a rigorous peer-review process, this year’s keynote speakers are:
Christopher Krügel: The Last Line of Defense
TU Wien alumnus, Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB), and co-founder of the security software company Lastline.
