Talk: Reproducible Querying in evolving, schema changing databases to enhance FAIRness of research data
On Febuary the 21st, Tomasz Miksa and his master student at TU Wien Moritz Staudinger got into the meeting by invitation from German colleagues via RDA WGs. Moritz talked about the project with International Soil Moisture Network (ISMN) network. In short, he adds data citation capability to ISMN. The data citation follows a recommendation produced by Research Data Alliance. Andreas Rauber – key researcher at SBA – is one of the co-authors of this recommendation. The recommendation is adopted in different settings and the work with ISMN is one of these use cases. The goal of the talk at the OGC was to inform other in the Geospatial community on this developments and to encourage further adoption of the recommendation.
