A Min Tjoa receives Austrian Decoration of Honor
Congratulations to A Min Tjoa! The professor emeritus at TU Wien Informatics and one of the Co-Founders of SBA Research, was honored with the highest Austrian Decoration of Honor for Science and Art (Österreichisches Ehrenkreuz für Wissenschaft und Kunst I. Klasse).
In 1979 A Min Tjoa started his career at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz where he received his Ph.D. in computer science. After being a full professor at the University of Vienna for information systems and for informatics, he has been a full professor for software technology at TU Wien since 1994. Tjoa published more than 200 peer-reviewed articles in his various research fields and has been the Austrian delegate for the United Nations Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) since 2008.
