LION 2021 Conference Start
The 15th Learning and Intelligent Optimization Conference (LION15), hosted by SBA Research, is currently taking place as all-digital conference. Panos Pardalos (General Chair), Dimitris E. Simos (TPC Chair) and Ilias Kotsireas (Local Organizing Chair) are welcoming contributors from 29 countries and are happy to host five outstanding keynote speakers (Martin Charles Golumbic, Evangelos Kranakis, Paul Spirakis, Rick Kuhn and Franz Wotawa).
This years LION organization is a joint partnership of the Center for Applied Optimization of University of Florida, USA, the MATRIS research group of SBA Research, Ausria and the CARGO lab of Wilfrid Laurier University.
The LION Conference explores the intersections and uncharted territories between machine learning, artificial intelligence, energy, mathematical programming and algorithms for hard optimization problems. The main focus of the event is to bring together experts from these areas to discuss new ideas and methods, challenges and opportunities in various application areas, general trends and specific developments.
