sec4dev – Women In IT: We Are No Aliens!
Yesterday evening, the sec4dev Conference & Bootcamp, hosted the special event Women in IT – we are no Aliens! – with 50+participants including SBA’s Stephanie Jakoubi, Johanna Ullrich and Martina Lindorfer.
Since still only 20% of the sec4dev participants are female, there is strong need for events which inspire, empower and connect women. How to overcome this occasional “alien” feeling of working in a male dominated field is one of the missions of SBA Research’s inspiring colleague Stephanie Jakoubi, who initiated yesterday’s event. To quote amazing Tanya Janca, founder of We Hack Purple and sec4dev keynote speaker: “Times are already changing. We can do it!“
