As a follow up to the recently published technical statement of SBA Research about the Stopp Corona-App (press release), Christian Kudera (Security Analyst and Researcher at SBA Research) was interviewed by krone.at. In the Interview the most important features and security concerns of the Stopp Corona-App were explained and discussed.
His conclusion: The app is in general in accordance with data protection laws. Everyone who is now worried about the app must be aware that when using WhatsApp, Facebook or any other app, much more data is transferred.
