Rudolf Mayer and Andreas Rauber on reproducible data and privacy at the Horizon 2020 EU project meeting MyHealthMyData in Geneva, Switzerland
The Horizon 2020 project MyHealthMyData empowers patients, as the primary owner of their health data, to share this data in a secure and privacy-protecting manner with external parties, such as researchers or the pharmaceutical industry.
A meeting dedicated to discuss the technical aspects of the implementation takes place in Geneva, November 9th and 10th, gathering 15 researchers from seven European countries, from research organisations, health care companies and clinical research institutions. The topics addressed include the traceability of data sharing via blockchain technology, reproducibility of data used via the RDA data citation WG standards, and privacy protecting methods.
